Project: Extensions, alterations and remodeling of 1960’s detached house.

A detached property in a quiet close in Colchester that was dated in its looks and the layout.

The property had a small kitchen with just a normal back door to gain access to the garden and with unattractive looks the property was ready to be modernized.  The client was also keen to change the style and create a much more contemporary look.

With a two storey front extension, including modern styled flat roof porch, a single storey flat roof rear extension with lantern and large sliding doors and re-cladding the main body of the house, the resulting look is crisp, modern and attractive.

The finished scheme provides the client with the open living space required, with lots of natural light and a contemporary look that reflects this.
