About Optimum Architecture
Optimum Architecture Ltd is based at Nayland on the Essex and Suffolk border in the heart of the beautiful Dedham Vale National Landscape (Previously AONB). We work on all types of projects such as new houses, conversions, extensions, alterations and outbuildings, including Listed buildings, traditional and contemporary styles. We are broad minded and able to transfer your dreams into reality.
We typically work throughout Suffolk and North Essex, including Sudbury and Colchester and their surrounding villages. We are familiar with Babergh and Mid Suffolk, West Suffolk, Colchester City, Braintree, and Tendring District Councils.
Optimum Architecture Ltd was established in 2007 by Stuart Davis MCIAT, Certified Passivhaus Designer, who along with James Wicks ACIAT, Dan Cole and Les Edwards, have collectively many years of experience. Our individual skills, experience and qualities complement each other very well, which enables us to bring you great designs, together with practical advice, and well documented information.
Our services typically include architectural designs, detailed drawings, planning consultancy and general advice and support for your project, whether that is for a new house, small development, barn conversion, extension, renovation, or new outbuilding. We have worked on a wide variety of all types of residential properties.
We thrive and enjoy the variation of working on all styles and age of property, frequently working on listed buildings, period properties, modern designs and diverse or complicated planning applications.
We are flexible, accessible and pride ourselves on having a positive ‘can do’ attitude. It is our aim that once the project is completed, the result fulfils your requirements and expectations.
We regularly work with Babergh District Council, Mid Suffolk District Council, West Suffolk Council, Colchester City Council, Tendring District Council and finally Braintree District Council We are also able and confident to work with any other Local Authority further afield.
