Project: Replacement of 1960’s bungalow with a large 2 storey dwelling in a stunning setting.

Location: Little Cornard, Suffolk.

  • A stunning detached property on a large wooded plot with a lake.

    The original property was a comfortable detached bungalow in a great setting, but was dated, inefficient and did not maximize the surroundings.

    The idea for the original design was to extend the original building with a partial first floor extension, but as the technical design and scheme progressed it became apparent that this was not feasible, and therefore the project ended up being a replacement dwelling.

    The large open plan spaces, sliding doors and floating balconies overlooking the lake make this property a delight. It enables the owner to enjoy the wildlife and tranquility of the setting fully.

    A delightful home that is modern, efficient and allows the occupants to fully engage and enjoy the surroundings.
