Location: Hartest, SUFFOLK.

    • Change of use, refurbishment, alterations and extensions to the village Doctors Surgery.

    The project brief was firstly to gain Planning Consent for the Change of use, providing market evidence that there was insufficent demand for a commercial building like this within the village.

    Then we carried on to design the conversion of the old Doctors Surgery to a bungalow, including modernization of the building, extensions and alterations.

    The finished bungalow has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The single storey extension contains folding sliding doors which lead out onto the patio and outside space. There are also 2 parking spaces.

    The result is a modern, low maintenance, easy to live in dwelling, suitable for 1 or 2 people, in the centre of the village.

    The project was successful, creating a well-proportioned spacious bungalow, in the centre of this beautiful village.
