Project: New detached modern contemporary replacement dwelling.

A stunning Self-build project.

The project involved removing the 1960’s bungalow and replacing it with this new dwelling. The site conditions were challenging but led the project towards a split level property with lots of interest.

The layout consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with good connection to the garden via the multiple folding sliding doors that also allows lots of light in. The hallway has large rooflight which floods the split level entrance space with light.

Externally the mix of materials, including seemed metal cladding, smooth crisp render, and natural slate, combined with the interesting form and details of the contemporary design create a unique home which is comfortable, efficient and a pleasure to live.
