Project: Single storey rear contemporary extension to existing dwelling.

A high quality open plan rear single storey extension.

The existing dwelling is a comfortable detached dwelling with a mature pleasant garden. The existing kitchen and dining area was open to the existing conservatory which created an uncomfortable space.

The clients brief was extend the rear of the house with additional floor space and to allow the internal floor area to visual and physically engage with the garden more all in a clean crisp contemporary way. The flat roofs and external corners are deliberately varied to created architectural interest. The high quality finish achieved by the client and contractor also contributes to the success of the project.

The result has created great internal open plan space that opens up the garden to the house and complements the architecture  of the property.
