Project: Two storey rear extension to existing period dwelling in suffolk
Location: Nr Clare, Suffolk
Our clients wished to add an extra bedroom and enlarge the kitchen.
The existing dwelling was not listed, but approximately 200 years old, it had a plastic conservatory on the rear elevation, that was not used, as often with conservatories of this age they are too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
The extension gave them the space they required with a larger kitchen and an additional bedroom. The variation in external material texture creates subtle interest whilst complementing the existing building.
A straight forward project, that fits with the existing building whilst fulfilling the client brief.
